CMF Water for Kenya

Program Overview

The CMF Water for Kenya project, funded by Connection Point Christian Church in the USA, was established with one clear goal – to connect every citizen of Narok County with access to safe, clean water. Water is the foundation of health and without it communities cannot thrive.

The Need

Many households in rural Narok County lack access to safe water sources. Contaminated water contributes directly to preventable illness, school absenteeism and the daily burden carried by women and girls who walk long distances to collect water for their families.

What We Do

The project drills boreholes in areas without reliable water sources, installs rainwater harvesting systems at schools, CHP health clinics and community sites, conducts water quality assessments and runs community education programmes on water safety, sanitation and hygiene.

Who We Serve

The programme serves rural communities, schools and health facilities across Narok County with a focus on reaching the most remote and underserved households.

Reach and Impact

Through borehole drilling, rainwater harvesting and community education, the project has brought clean water access to schools, health facilities and communities across Narok County improving health outcomes and reducing the burden on families.
