Community Health Partners is a local not-for-profit organisation registered in Kenya in 2011, with a history of service dating back to 1980. We are one of the largest health service providers in Narok County, working alongside the Ministry of Health to deliver quality, accessible and affordable healthcare to the communities we serve.
Community Health Partners (CHP) began its work in 1980 under the umbrella of Christian Missionary Fellowship (CMF) before being registered as an independent local organisation in Kenya in 2011. Over four decades CHP has grown into one of the most significant health service providers in Narok County, delivering holistic health services and economic empowerment to some of the most remote and underserved communities in the region. We work in close partnership with the Ministry of Health, international donors, civil society and local communities to transform lives through quality healthcare.

CHP operates primarily in Narok County in the South Rift region of Kenya. Our health facilities and programmes reach communities across Narok South, Narok North, Narok East and Narok West sub-counties, including some of the most remote and underserved areas in the region. Our current sites include Ewaso Ngiro, Aitong, Mara Rianta, and Talek, where CHP continues to provide direct healthcare services and strengthen community health systems.
CHP serves some of the most vulnerable and underserved communities in Narok County including pastoralist communities, women and girls, children of school going age, people living with HIV, pregnant mothers, survivors of gender based violence and households without access to clean water and sanitation. Our work reaches across generations – from immunization for infants to reproductive health for women, HIV treatment for adults and child protection for the most vulnerable.
Over four decades of service in Narok County, CHP has made a lasting difference in the lives of thousands of individuals, families and communities. Our impact includes improved immunization financing in Narok County with the county budget doubled from KES 15 million to KES 30 million, 14,782 children reached across 28 primary schools through the 3K Project, HIV/AIDS care and treatment services delivered across 6 sites since 2004, clean water access provided to schools, health facilities and communities across the county, and COVID-19 response delivered to remote communities in the Mara Rianta catchment area. We remain committed to growing our reach and deepening our impact in the years ahead.
CHP has also played a key role in establishing and supporting several additional sites, which have since been successfully transitioned to the Government of Kenya for continued service delivery.

The Board, Management and Staff of Community Health Partner (CHP) recognize the fact that the organization operates in always changing environment that continue to offer new opportunities and challenges. In this regard the team is committed and focused in strategic direction that is critical to enable CHP succeed in achieving its desired goals. CHP will always reposition itself to take both advantages of the existing strengths and opportunities.
CHP is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors that provides strategic oversight, governance, and leadership to ensure accountability, transparency, and long-term impact.
