Talek Health Centre, established in 1991, is a key community healthcare facility supported by Community Health Partners (CHP). The facility has evolved into a comprehensive care centre, offering a wide range of essential health services supported by modern infrastructure and innovative solutions. With a strong focus on maternal, newborn, and child health, the centre plays a critical role in improving health outcomes and expanding access to quality healthcare services within the region.

Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Unit

The Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Unit, launched in March 2024, represents a major milestone in strengthening healthcare services at Talek Health Centre. Funded by Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital, M-Pesa Foundation, and other partners, the unit is designed to reduce maternal and child mortality in the region by providing specialized, high-quality care for mothers and newborns.
